Google Business Profile management for contractors
Your Google Business Profile is where the call is decided. Most buyers who find you on Google read the profile, look at the photos, skim three reviews and choose, without ever reaching your website. Google’s AI reads the same profile when it decides who to recommend. We set it up, fill every field, and keep it active every week.
Who it is for
Who this is for, and who it is not for.
- Your profile was set up years ago and nobody owns it.
- You have one category, half your services missing, and photos customers uploaded.
- You serve businesses and want the profile to say so, in the words buyers search with.
- You run more than one location and need them all kept consistent.
- Residential-only companies.
- Businesses that cannot give us manager access to the profile.
- Anyone looking for a one-time setup and nothing after. The profile rewards being alive.
Anatomy
Every field is a ranking input. We fill all of them.
Google ranks the map pack on relevance, distance and prominence, and most of what it reads for relevance and prominence sits inside the profile: categories, services, photos, posts, reviews and replies. That is why this is a managed service, not a one-time setup.
The difference
Parked profile vs. run profile.
- One category, half the services missing
- Photos: a logo and whatever customers uploaded
- Zero posts; looks out of business
- Unanswered questions from strangers
- Wrong holiday hours and "temporarily closed?" flags
- Nobody notices the suggested edits Google applies
- Right primary category, every secondary that applies
- Every service written out in buyer language
- Job photos weekly, posts on schedule
- Q&A seeded with real buyer questions, answered by you
- Hours, attributes and service area always current
- Every Google-suggested edit reviewed before it goes live
That last line matters more than people think. Google lets the public and its own systems suggest edits to your profile: categories change, hours change, and unmanaged profiles drift. Part of the service is standing guard.
The service
What is included.
- ✓Full rebuild — categories, services, descriptions, attributes, service area, hours, booking links
- ✓Photo cadence — fresh job photos published weekly; your crews shoot, we handle the rest
- ✓Posts on schedule — completed jobs, seasonal services and updates, written for buyers, not algorithms
- ✓Q&A ownership — seeded with the questions buyers actually ask, answered before strangers do
- ✓Edit monitoring — every suggested change caught and reviewed; drift stopped
- ✓Beyond Google — Bing Places and Apple Business Connect kept complete, because other assistants read those
- ✓Review replies — every review answered, as part of the same weekly rhythm (reviews)
- ✓Monthly report — searches, views, calls, direction requests, in plain English
How it works
How it works, week by week.
Score it, claim it
Profile scored field by field against the competitors who outrank you. Ownership verified, manager access set up, duplicates found.
Fill every field
Categories, services, descriptions, attributes, hours and service area rewritten from an hour with someone who knows the work.
Switch on the weekly rhythm
Photo flow from your crews, first posts, Q&A seeded, Bing and Apple listings matched to Google.
Keep it alive
Posts, photos, replies, edit checks every week; a plain-English report every month.
What it costs
Pricing follows the audit.
What this costs depends on your market, how many cities you serve and which services you take. We do not publish a price list and we do not quote before we have looked. The free visibility audit comes first; it shows what needs doing, and the quote follows from that. Ask about pricing through the same form.
Straight answers
Questions owners actually ask.
Do we need a new profile or can you fix ours?
Fix yours. A profile with history and reviews is worth keeping. We only create a new one when none exists or when yours is a duplicate that has to be merged.
How often do you update it?
Every week: photos, posts, replies and a check for suggested edits. Hours and services whenever they change.
Can you manage multiple locations?
Yes. Each location gets its own profile, with the same categories and services, local photos and local reviews. Consistency across them is part of the job.
What if our profile got suspended?
We work the reinstatement with Google, document what caused it, and fix the cause so it does not come back. We cannot promise a timeline; Google sets that.
Do you handle reviews too?
Replies, yes. Getting new reviews on a steady schedule is its own service: see reviews and reputation.
